The release of the seventh volume of Magi: Adventure of Sinbad in Japan is on track for its July 17th, 2015 debut and now the YouTube channel for magazine has revealed a new two minute promotional trailer for the fifth installment of the bundled anime series. The release of the sixth volume of the manga back in April brought out the fourth episode and things moved quickly to get the next episode out with this installment rather than a skip volume. It really looks like at this stage that as long as the manga keeps getting released a couple of times a year, new anime episodes will be bundled with it.
It’s expected that the cast will reprise their roles here again and that the team behind the previous installments will continue on here as well, though that will all get firmed up along the way.
While the main Magi series continues in Japan, with 25 volumes out so far, and its anime adaptations having gotten release here, the Sinbad spinoff continues to be an unlicensed piece that’s surprising. Even as standalone episodes one can imagine Aniplex USA trying to bring them over, or in two episode batches at a premium price for fans.
We’ll continue to wait and see if these episodes find their way over here officially.
