K: Return of Kings is set to debut in October 2015 in Japan and the official site has launched a new section that will definitely please fans. The new section is a hundred visuals campaign that will bring out a new image each day until the series premiere, giving fans a decently high quality image to download and add to their collection. With it being so many images, we won’t do regular updates on it, but we’ve included the first couple so you can get an idea of what to exxpect.
The original series is getting a rebroadcast this summer beginning on July 3rd with new episodes every Friday.
The new season is set to be directed by Shingo Suzuki, who will also serve as character designer, and GoHands will produce the animation. Suzuki isn’t unfamiliar with the property, having directed the first season and the film. The property had new material coming out at the end of December 2014 with the sequel manga from Yui Kuroe, that picks up after the film, but how connected that will be to the larger anime universe remains to be seen.
Viz Media has released the TV series on DVD/BD in North America after providing it with an English language dub.
