It’s starting to look better and better these days for manga series appearing in Manga Time Kirara and it’s various affiliates as a number of them are getting anime adaptations. The latest to join the ranks is that of Unhappy, which is based on the manga series by Cotoji. Three volumes have been released so far since it debuted at the end of 2012 and the fourth is set for release on July 13th, 2015. No details about the production are announced at this point as only the cover scan of the issue, which you can see to the right, has revealed the plans.
Plot concept: The story centers around class 1-7 of Tennogofune Academy, where all the students with “bad karma” or misfortune seem to have been gathered. Hibari, a student in this class, meets the unlucky Hanako and the perennially unhealthy Botan on her first day of school, and together they try to find a way to turn their school life into a happy one.
