The summer 2015 idol series Venus Project -Climax– is getting closer to its debut and now we’ve gotten a big chunk of additional casting for the project. The cast has grown decently since the announcement, but now more of the supporting cast has been revealed, which because of its nature, could have larger roles elsewhere. With this series, it’s part of a multimedia idol project that’s on its way out to take Japanese fans by storm when it debuts in July. The previously announced cast includes Ami Himesaki as Karen Takano, Rui Tanabe as Mitsuki Sarashina, Ruka Nemoto as Yuu Kashima, Sawaka Hata as Eriko Hara, Riho Iida as Ruka Sovagasky and Marika Hayase as Miu Nurehara. The newly announced members include:

It comes from Galat and they’re looking at doing the whole range of products, from the anime to games, manga and more. There’s a PS Vita game set for the spring which will come out alongside a webmanga while the TV series in the summer is set to be twelve episodes, which includes six variety program episodes along with six anime episodes.
Plot concept: In the near future, Japan has developed sophisticated digital and image technology. People are enthusiastic for a new type of entertainment called “FORMULA VENUS.” Abbreviated as “F-V,” it is a sorted live battle of the top idol performances based on the idols’ power, techniques, and developed experience. The story is about the drama that happens among the girls in VENUS PROJECT as they aim for the top by concentrating on difficult battles, passion, and friendship.
