What They Say:
Urawa no Usagi-chan is an original series centered around the daily lives of 8 girls in junior high school in Saitama prefecture’s Urawa district. The Review:
Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
With the awful game show material behind us, it’s hard to think that the show could get worse. Thankfully it just deals with normal school based stuff at the moment, such as Usagi coping with math and not doing well at all, as it plays with that familiar trope. With midterms coming up, we get the usual banter about who is doing what and how worried some are, mostly as Usagi just falls apart further and further because of her inability. Overall, there’s not a lot here once again, but we generally just get to see everyone together and going through the motions of the day in trying to study and bonding.

In Summary:
At least there’s no game show here is all I can think with this show. After a pair of utterly awful episodes, the show claws back to sub-mediocrity here by again doing absolutely nothing while the girls study, or talk about studying, and play into basic stereotypes. There’s not much to root for here overall and plenty that barely even registers overall, which sums up this series that makes boredom look like a great pastime.
