The recent pickup of a second season of Agent Carter is definitely good news for a lot of fans of the character and the setting, but it looks like we might be getting something a little different for the midseason bridging series. Series lead Haley Atwell attended Comicpalooza recently and in the dialogue about the show, she revealed that the second season will expand from eight to ten episodes for it, providing more of a window for ABC to promote it and to provide a strong second half for Agents of SHIELD when it returns with minimal to no breaks.
The series stars Hayley Atwell. No other casting has been revealed, which isn’t a surprise if it’s changing its setting entirely.
Plot concept: Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
