Viewster teased this a couple of weeks ago alongside several other series that were debuting but now they’ve got it formalized as Vampire Holmes is now streaming on their service here. The series is available with English, German, French and Italian subtitles for audiences in multiple territories.
The series premiered in Japan on April 3rd, 2015 where the first four minute episode will debut alongside the Nico Nico Douga streaming. The show has gotten Nami Tamaki to perform the theme song for it.
The cast for the series has been formalized with Yoshinobu Sena as Holmes, reprising his role in the game, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Watson and Ayahi Takagaki as Holmes’ house cat, Kira.
Plot concept: From studio! Cucuri comes an anime who takes the Sherlock Holmes concept to an entirely different place. In this adaptation of a popular smartphone game, a handsome young detective named Holmes undertakes a secret mission from the Metropolitan Police of London to search out and destroy the vampires that have been terrorizing the city. Accompanying him is Hudson, Holmes’s young assistant, and Kira, his house cat—perhaps the cutest cat in recent anime history. Holmes is a private detective in name only; he uses neither reason nor logic to solve his cases. Let’s say he relies on … intuition. But he always solves his cases … always.
