Boruto Movie HeaderAustralian distributor Madman Entertainment have been on quite a roll with their theatrical announcements this year with Parasyte Part 1, When Marnie Was There and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ all scheduled to get a theatrical run in 2015. Earlier this year, Madman also gave The Last: Naruto the Movie a theatrical run and company has now added Boruto: Naruto The Movie to its theatrical line up, with an announcement that the film will be playing in Australian cinemas. This is the first western territory that has now licensed the film with a confirmed release in the region. Viz Media and Eleven Arts are yet to make announcements on the title for the US region.

The feature takes place after the The Last – Naruto the Movie – and deals with the next generation of shinobi.

Property concept: Naruto: Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as he has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.
