The folks at Satelight have a new project that’s coming out later this year in Japan with Momokuri, a work that was announced over the weekend. The property is based on the manga of the same name from Kurose, which is part of the Comic web manga app and began back in 2014. The series has launched its teaser site and has revealed that the show will be directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike. Hiraike is definitely a solid choice to work on this considering his efforts with Amagami SS as well as Aria the Natural and Working!!. The show is being animated at Satelight. Some initial casting has been revealed as well with Nobuhiko Okamoto playing Shinya Momotsuki while ai Kakuma will play Yuki Kurihara. The first part of each of the characters last name is what makes up the series title.
Plot concept: The story revolves around Yuki Kurihara, a girl who has finally been granted her wish of dating her crush Momo. At first glance, she just looks like a normal but very cute girl. However, she is in fact a maniac over Momo, taking notes of his activities and never missing the chance to see him in a cute moment. Momo, on the other hand, is inexperienced in love, and just wants to make Yuki happy.
