The first episode of Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works with its second cour got an advanced screening at Sakura-con this weekend and then debuted later in the day on Crunchyroll while we were doing all our own convention stuff. Catching up a bit on things, Aniplex USA has brought out a newly subtitled trailer that hit Japan a few weeks back that clocks in at nearly three minutes, but Aniplex Japan has also dropped a new ninety-second trailer for the second cour to get fans excited about it amid a very competition heavy season of shows in Japan.

To realize the mythical Holy Grail, which is said to grant any wish from its possessor, seven masters are given seven heroic spirits chosen by the Grail. These heroic spirits or servants are: “Saber,” “Lancer,” “Archer,” “Rider,” “Caster,” “Assassin,” “Berserker.” Each master will enter into a contract with their assigned servants and battle the other masters and servants to the death until only one pair remains… This is the “Holy Grail War.” The Battle Begins Fall 2014. 『Unlimited Blade Works』 This story focuses primarily on the heroine Rin Tohsaka.
