Now that we’re just under two weeks away from its release, Madman Entertainment has brought out a rather appealing trailer for The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki, which lands on April 15th for Australian audiences. The special limited edition box-set collects Miyazaki’s 11 feature films – from The Castle of Cagliostro to the Academy Award®-nominated The Wind Rises – and offers a rare look at some of his earliest works, presented with English translations for the first time.
The premium release is set at $274.95 for the DVD edition and $324.95 for the Blu-Ray edition and also comes with all the special features from the special edition releases of the 11 feature films bound together in a deluxe limited edition box set. Furthermore a bonus disc featuring rare early works and Hayao Miyazaki’s retirement press conference in Japanese language with English subtitles will be included in the release alongside a 32-page booklet and bonus post-cards.
This box set contains the following films:
- Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979)
