Scott Eastwood Boards ‘Suicide Squad’ As Steve Trevor

2 min read

Scott EastwoodNew tidbits have surfaced about Suicide Squad, which is entering full on production mode in April. According to the report, a new cameo has been set with the film as Steve Trevor will partake in it, to be played by Scott Eastwood. Trevor is a longstanding and fundamental character within the Wonder Woman mythos and introducing him here as part of ARGUS, which is what runs the Squad, makes a lot of sense. Eastwood is about to be seen in the upcoming film The Longest Ride.

The villain side is also getting fleshed out as unconfirmed reports have Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje joining the film as Killer Croc.

In addition to that, it’s also being reported that Raymond Olubowale has signed on for a very minor part where he’ll be taking on the role of King Shark for some motion capture while also doing a little time in “normal” form as a part of Amanda Waller’s security team.

Announced for an August 5th, 2016 released, Suicide Squad is being helmed by Fury director David Ayer. The film is set to star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, someone as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.

Plot concept: A group of supervillains are brought together to tackle high-risk black ops missions for the government.
