Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a DungeonThings are starting to ramp up a bit for the spring 2015 anime series Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, which is scheduled for an April 2015 debut. While we had the Comic Market 87 preview previously, a second promotional video clocking in at 90 seconds has arrived from AnimeJapan 2015 and Warner Bros. that showcases more of the project, including the opening theme song for it. The series recently received a premiere date for it of April 3rd, 2015 on Tokyo MX with it then rolling out to other regions over the next couple of days.

The anime adaptation of Fujino Omori’s light novel series is the first part of a slate of titles that will be planned for the GA Bunko imprint that it’s a part of. The new series will be directed by Yoshiki Yamakawa at JC Staff based on scripts and compsoition by Hideki Shirane and character designs by Shigeko Kimoto.

The series will star Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Bell Cranel, Inori Minase as Hestia, Saori Onishi as Eyes Warenstein, Maaya Uchida as Ririruka Ahde, Haruka Tomatsu as Eina Chūru and Shizuka Ishigami as Shiru Furova.

Plot concept: The huge labyrinth city, Orario, is the gateway to the huge underground maze commonly known as the “Dungeon”. Its strange name causes excitement, a place to gain honour, and maybe even a romance with a pretty girl. A place where people hold their breath, hoping to gain all they wish for, a place where a solitary young man meets a little “god”.
