The first week of April 2015 is pretty stacked with new anime premieres and now we’re seeing some joeckeying to gain attention, in addition to some solid Anime Japan 2015 promos coming out. THe latest one to arrive for Plastic Memories, which comes from animation studio Dogakobo. While we’ve had a couple of promos already, this three minute piece goes into the show well and higlights the music as well. The series is now set for an April 4th debut on Tokyo MX and four other regional stations and it’s getting more debuts on the 7th and the 8th in other regions as well, giving the show a fairly wide reach right away. The series is having its opening song performed Eri Sasaki while the ending song is being done by Asami Imai.

The series is an original creation between okiura of Infinite Stratos character designs and Steins Gate writer Naotaka Hayatashi. The series is being directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara with Chiaki Nakajima providing the character designs for it. Te animation is being produced at Dogakobo.
Plot concept: This story takes place in a future not too far away when androids that look exactly like humans begin to spread across the world. The android production company SA Corp. produced Giftia, a new kind of android that has the most amount of emotion and human-like qualities out of any other model ever seen. However, due to problems in technology, the androids have a service life, and once they pass that, they… Well, it gets pretty bad. For this reason, SA Corp. creates a terminal service in order to retrieve Giftia that have gone past their service life. A new employee at the terminal service named Tsukasa Mizugaki forms a team with the Giftia Isla to retrieve the other androids, but…
