After the official site got a bit of a refresh earlier in the week for the Date-A-Live feature film, with the image you can see to the right, things have now updated even more as we have the staff for the project and a formal release date of August 22nd, 2015. Date-A-Live: Mayuri Judgement is directed by Keitaro Motonaga based on the screenplay by Hideki Shirane. Animated at Production IMS, Koji Watanabe serves as the chief animation director while Satoshi Ishino and Koji Watanabe are on board for character designs. The project is based on the original works by Koushi Tachibana and Tsuanko.
FUNimation recently announced their acquisition of the second season of the series, and they’ve previously licensed and released the first season. You can read our review here. They simulcast the second season as well this past spring.
