New ‘Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid’ Anime TV Spot Arrives

2 min read

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVidIt’s been a few month since we last heard anything about the upcoming Kadokawa series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid, but now that’s changed with a new TV spot for it. The series is slated for an April 3rd, 2015 debut, adding to an already busy spring season in a big way for fans of the property. We previously had the cast and staff information as well as a key visual. The production has set Yuuki Itoh to direct it at A-1 Pictures with Naruo Kobayashi handling the scripts. Masaaki Yamano is on board to handle character designs for the series.

The series has set the cast with Kaori Mizuhashi as Vivio Takamachi, Mamiko Noto as Einhart Stratos, Yukari Tamura as Nanoha Takamichi and Nana Mizuki as Fate.

The adaptation comes from the manga of the same name by Masaki Tsuzuki and Takuya Fujima that began in 2009 and just released its twelfth installment last month. Similar to the other series, there’s a bit of a time jump between shows, this one moving things ahead about four years. The property has done quite well since its initial introduction years ago as we’ve had three series prior to this along with two feature films while a third is still tentatively planned for this year. And that’s not even starting to scratch the surface of all the manga spinoffs over the years.

Plot concept: Set 4 years after StrikerS, Nanoha finally has time to get off her feet, now explore the Nanoha world in Vivio Takamichi’s shoes and her device, Sacred Heart.

  1. interactions between vivio and einhart are just nanoha and fate 2.0 sigh its like the creator couldn’t think of something different to do with the rival character(have a boy rival to challenge vivio for instance) so just decided to copy and paste nanoha and fate into the new main characters.
