It’s almost surprising when we don’t get a new OVA coming out that doesn’t have theatrical plans, but that’s what happened with this release. Announced this past August, the new OVA for Haiyore! Nyaruko-san F got a home video schedule set for it but little else. With the home video release scheduled for June 19th, it’s now also gotten a limited theatrical run on May 30th, where fans can see it and also purchase the Blu-ray limited edition as well.
Series premise: Mahiro has become accustomed to his protection detail of Nyaruko, Kuko, and Hasuta making his life interesting. Nyaruko starts scheming with Tamao to turn up the charm and sway Mahiro’s resolve, while Kuko reconsiders her own stance on love. Things get tricky as the gang deals with a monstrous monkey, an unexpected visitor from Kuko’s past, balancing love and duty, and of course, saving the world.
