Trailers for the two new theatrical anime films for Beyond the Boundary have hit in the last few months and now Kyoto Animation has a new one for the second one with Beyond the Bounday The Movie -I’ll Be Here- Future Chapter-. The new TV spot gives us another brief look at the film ahead of the debut of the compilation film that’s set to arrive next weekend. Announced back in September 2014, Kyoto Animation revealed that they were pursuing a theatrical adaptation of their fall 2013 anime series with plans for two films. The film is being split into two parts as the first part, the Past Arc, is slated for a March 14th, 2015 release that looks at the events of Mirai. The second piece, called the Future Chapter, is scheduled for an April 25th release where it focused on things a year later.
The TV series has been licensed for release on home video in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
Series concept: The dark fantasy follows a high school sophomore named Akihito Kanbara. Although the boy appears human, he is half youmu and invulnerable to wounds because he can heal quickly. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it seems she is about to jump from the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world. Disturbing events begin to unfold after Akihito saves Mirai.
