‘Triage X’ Anime Gets New Promo, Premiere Date

Triage XAnnounced back at the start of September 2014 with the debut of an official Triage X anime site, things are picking up for the spring 2015 anime series. With the arrival of a new promotional video, an April 8th debut has now been set for the show in Japan.  It’ll be directed by Akio Takami and Takao Kato based on scripts by Katsujiko Takayama and character designs by Akio Takami. It’s now been revealed that Saeko Zogo with Nagareda Project will be handling the opening theme for the series.

Newly added to the cast through the promotional spot are Takaya Kuroda as Masamune Mochizuki, Aya Hisakawa as Fiona Ran Winchester, Naomi Ōzora as Hinako Kominato, and Izumi Kitta as Yuu Momokino.

The main cast previously announced includes Kenji Akabane as Arashi, Mikami Yui Kondou as Mikoto Kiba, Amina Satō as Oriha Nashida, Fuyuka Oura as Yūko Sagiri, Masumi Asano as Miki Tsurugi and Ryoko Shiraishi as Sayo Hitsug

Additionally, a new OAD is scheduled to be released with the twelft volume of the series that will be coming out later this year. An OAD was produced with the ninth volume of the manga that came out back in September 2014.

The show is based off of the manga of the same name which comes from Shouji Sato. The series began in 2009 and has eight volumes released in Japan so far with all of of them released in North America by Yen Press. You can read our reviews of the manga here:
