While the anime adaptation of Nisekoi is getting ready for its second season debut on April 10th, 2015, a little more casting has surfaced for the project. We recently learned that voice actress Kotori Koiwai has joined the show to take on the role of Fu while Ayane Sakura has boarded the series as Haru Onodera. Now it’s been revealed in the next issue of Shonen Jump that Manami Numakura is also being added to the new season where she’ll take on the role of Paula McCoy. Numakura has a pretty solid list of credits to her name, in addition to several theme song performances, where she’s had a good run in Aikatsu! as Yurika, the role of Takao in Arpeggio of Blue Steel and is currently seen in Unlimited Fafnir as Mitsuki Mononobe.

Nisekoi is based on the manga by Naoshi Komi which has been appearing in the US version of Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The series began back at the end of 2011 in Japan and has been running since.
Plot concept: Raku Ichijo is an average high school student. He also happens to be the sole heir to the head of a Yakuza Family called the Shuei-gumi. 10 years ago, Raku made a promise… a secret promise with a girl he met. They promised one another that they will “get married when they reunite.” Since then, Raku never let go of the pendant the girl gave him.
Then one day, a beautiful girl named Chitoge Kirisaki transfers into Raku’s class. Their chemistry was more than off. There was not a moment where they were not fighting. But, by a weird turn of events…Raku and Chitoge agree to become fake lovers. Although his heart is really interested in his classmate Kosaki Onodera…Raku must continue pretending to be Chitoge’s boyfriend.
How far will you go for a love that is truly fake? Which girl holds the key to Raku’s pendant and to his heart?
