Released a couple of weeks ago on February 17th, 2015, FUNimation has now brought out a couple more clips from the film A Certain Magical Index – The Movie – The Miracle of Endymion. What’s welcome with this new round of clips is that while we do get the English language version, which is a big part of the draw for fans, we also get the Japanese language version. Since the project was a film and not streamed, it’s a bit newer for a lot of fans of the TV series that haven’t seen this through other methods. With the clips also featuring some singing segments, it’s also fun to do a little comparison there as well.
The new feature is getting a DVD/BD combo pack release right out of the gate, priced at $34.95 and will have both of its language tracks in stereo using the Dolby TrueHD lossless codec. The feature clocks in at 90 minutes with eight minuets of extras for a Region A release. The extras included a feature length commentary track while the timed extras include the teaser and TV spots as well as the theatrical trailer and promotional videos and ‘Telepath” theatrical trailer.
Plot concept: Welcome to Academy City, a futuristic metropolis populated with super-powered students.
