Coming as a complete shock to nobody, Aniplex USA has acquired the rights to Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda, which we previously translated as My Heart Wants to Shout but is getting a localization of The Anthem of the Heart -Beautiful Word Beautiful World-. The work comes from the team behind the AnoHana project with Taktsuyuki Nagai directing it based on the story with Mari Okada and character designs by Masayoshi Tanaka.
The announcement doesn’t come with any indication of what they have in terms of rights, but it’s safe to assume they have theatrical and home video rights and that we’ll see a multi-year staggered roll out of them with import editions and then localized editions.
