First ‘Koufuku Graffiti Anime DVD/BD Cover Revealed

Koufuku Graffiti Image 1Media Factory revealed the Japanese release plans for Koufuku Graffiti about a month ago and now they’ve revealed the first volume cover art as well. The twelve episode series is getting a standard six volume release from Media Factory that begins on April 24th, 2015. The show will have its Blu-ray releases priced at 7,000 yen each while the DVDs will be at 6,000 yen each. The first volume will come with a booklet that includes new manga material from the original creator, a drama CD and two end cards. On disc extras include the live action cast doing things and the promotional videos and commercials.

The series is set with Akiyuki Shinbo directing at Shaft with scripts by Mari Okada and character designs by Kazuya Shiotsuki. It’ll star Rina Satou, Asuka Ogame and Mikako Komatsu as Ryo, Kirin and Shiina respectively. Recently revealed is that the opening song The five ways about happiness that I know will be done by Maaya Sakamoto while the ending song will be a duet between Rina Sato and Asuka Ogame that’s called Consisting Smile.

The manga, which comes from Makoto Kawai, began in 2012 in Manga Time Kirara Miracle! and is the first published professional work for the creator. The series has three volumes to its name so far with the fourth scheduled for December 25th, 2014.

Plot concept: Ryo, a junior high school student, lives alone. She cooks well and builds warm relations with everyone through her cuisine. There will be 4-frames full of minute and accurate depictions of cooking and cuisine, as well as appetizing dining scenes, with tantalizing eroticism during meal time. When lonely, why not eat rice and be warm together?
