Has the anime curse struck another property? With an anime adaptation of the Jinsei novels last year out there, the original light novel series is now coming to a close. The tenth volume of the work from Ougyo Kawagishi is coming out on March 18th and the retailer listings for it are now confirming that it is indeed the final volume.

While there’s no actual relation, you do tend to see a number of manga and light novel series come to a close not long after an anime adaptation airs. The anime series was directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi based on story setting by Tsuyoshi Tamai and Keiichiro Ouchi. Character designs are being done by Tomoyuki Shitaya and the series was produced at animation studio feel.

Plot concept: The story centers around Yūki Akamatsu, a boy who joins the staff of his school’s second newspaper. The editor-in-chief Ayaka Nikaidō immediately assigns him to the life (jinsei) advice column. Three girls — the science representative Rino Endō, the liberal arts representative Fumi Kujō, and the physical education representative Ikumi Suzuki — answer requests from students about whatever is troubling them.
