After picking up the second season not that long ago, Sentai Filmworks has followed through with another license announcement as they’ve picked up the rights for The Familiar of “ZERO”-“Rondo” of Princesses-. The series is the sequel to the second season of the franchise and is animated by J.C. Staff. No release dates or formats were revealed with the acquisition, though it’s expected to follow the route of the others and be monolingual and dual format.
The Familiar of “ZERO”-“Rondo” of Princesses will be available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow.
Plot concept: With the seemingly unending war with Albion now far past them, Saito and Louise finally get a chance to return to Tristain for some much needed rest and relaxation. All their plans go down the drain, however, when the runes the bind them together suddenly disappear. With no magical force to make sure they don’t stray from each other, Saito and Louise find that a relationship that is no longer defined as “Master and Familiar” is pretty hard to maintain, and even harder to get used to! The adventure continues on as the former Zero now turned Hero and his newly empowered master discover more about each other than ever before in their quest to recover their lost runes in The Familiar of “ZERO”-“Rondo” of Princesses-!
