A series that many have hoped to be picked up for awhile has had its day today as Nozomi Entertainment has announced the acquisition of the 2007 series Sketchbook ~full color’s~. The show doesn’t have a date yet but is planned to be released in a full season set this summer with all thirteen episodes. Sketchbook ~full color’s~ is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike (Wagnaria, Kaleido Star), and features character designs by Isao Sugimoto (Ai Yori Aoshi, Shakugan no Shana), music by Ken Muramatsu (Natsuyuki Rendezvous), and animation by Hal Film Maker (ARIA). The series originally aired in Japan in 2007 on TV Tokyo.
Plot concept: Sora Kajiwara is a shy first year who joined the art club at her school. Sora slowly becomes less shy as she befriends everyone in the art club. She also grows artistically and learns how to sketch the beautiful world around her… and cats!
