The mad dash is on to build engagement and awareness for the now winter 2015 anime series and the latest one has arrived for Dog Days”. The series is set for a January 10th, 2015 debut and this new two minute promo comes after four TV spots focusing on various characters so far. This new series takes place a couple of months after the second season in terms of continuity. The series is based on the original work by Masaki Tsuzuki, who is doing the series composition for this, and will be directed by Junji Nishimura with Katsuya Kikuchi serving as the assistant direction. Osamu Sakata will be handling the character designs for it and Seven Arcs is handling the animation production. The series is being called Dog Days” which is being sounded out as Dog Days Double Dash.
The main cast of characters has also been announced with their actors with Mamoru Miyano as Shinku Izumi, Yui Horie as Millhiore F. Biscotti, Nana Mizuki as Ricotta Elmar, Ami Koshimizu as Leonmitchelli Galette Des Rois, Mikako Takahashi as Rebecca Anderson, Aoi Yūki as Kuberu E. Pastillage and Ayana Taketatsu as Eclair Martinozzi.
Plot concept: Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a “hero” from the outer world. Cinque, a junior high school boy living on the Earth, is chosen as the hero.
