Based on the spinoff manga by Chuugaku Akamatsu and Shogako Tachibana that began in 2010, Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA is now set to get a TV anime adaptation in 2015. The show comes off of the original Aria the Scarlet Ammo series that previously had an anime series in 2011, which FUNimation simulcast, licensed and released in bilingual form. The new adaptation doesn’t have any details at the moment as it’s just a listing on the Gangan Online site.

Plot concept: A young girl idolizes the world-renowned S-ranked butei Kanzaki H. Aria and plans to follow in her footsteps. However, her test grades her out as only an E-rank! All is not lost, however, as Aria agrees to give her some pointers. Can Aria help this newcomer become a first-rate butei?
Oh man I was hoping for a second season. Oh well but who knows, maybe this spin-off would boost the sales and get Aria the Scarlet Ammo season 2 produce.
