I Can’t Understand What My Husband Is Saying Episode 7
Would you trust this husband to babysit your daughter?

What They Say:
Kaoru is an OL you can find anywhere, serious and works diligently, but her husband is a super otaku and more-or-less a NEET. She is caught up in one of her husband’s whims one day or the subject of his concerns another, but the two are so close that it’s embarrassing to even watch them!

Life in this household can be amusing to be sure, and sometimes work life can interfere. Such is the case here as Kaoru gets asked to take care of her boss’s daughter, Ai, because of commitments he has. Ai is amusing right from the start as she’s like Kaoru in that she hates wearing clothes and just wants to be comfortable and lounge. But she has to be wary of her closet pervert of a husband, which is why they put her… in a sack? They try to find things to do, such as playing a game, but Ai is interested in pretty much just golf since her mother’s a pro golfer. Getting this trio outside together is certainly cute, and to have them go to the driving range is even more amusing. The trio are fun to watch in general and there’s even that touch of a proto-family thing going on.

In Summary:
Introducing a child into the mix is obviously dangerous with a show like this, I have to say with tongue in cheek. Kaoru and her husband are fun to watch in different situations and having a kid involved this time, one that’s young but not obnoxious, definitely works well as they figure out what to do and have a good time doing it without any drama. What we do get is simple but effective humor and comedy with a touch of heart that draws you to all of them just a tiny bit more. It’s more about the smiles than the laughs here, but we need that too.
