2 min read

Seiken Tsukai no World BreakIt continues to largely be pretty quiet when it comes to the anime adaptation of  the GA Bunko light novel series Seiken Tsukai no World Break. Set to debut in January 2015, the show will be directed by Takayuki Inagaki with scripts by Hiroshi Yamaguchi and character designs adapted by Masakazu Ishikawa. The series will be animated at Diomedea. While the cast for it is the same as the drama CD that came out before, there are also a few new additions that weren’t announced before that participated in the CD. The latest of which are Yui Ogura as Maya Shimon and Maaya Uchida as Haruka Momochi. The main cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Moroha Haimura, Ayana Taketatsu as Satsuki Ranjō and Aoi Yūki as Shizuno Urushibara.

Plot concept: The “campus sword & sorcery” story is set in a private high school that brings together “saviors,” youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.
