The trend of making sure you get an extra episode out of a TV production and bundle it with the manga continues as Trinity Seven is now set to do that. Kadakawa has let it be known via their store that the 11th volume of the series, which is due out on March 25th, 2015, will come with an original anime episode. It’s being written by the manga writer himself with plans for a festival episode that will be both embarrassing and outrageous. Which is what these kinds of additional episodes tend to focus on since they don’t need to be fully compliant with TV standards.
The manga for this property started in 2010 and has ten volumes to its name as created by Akinari Nao and Kenji Saitou. The series is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori based on the series composition by Hiroyuki Yoshino while Shinpei Tomooka will be doing double duty as the character designer and director of photography. The series is being animated at Seven Arcs Pictures.
The series stars Yumi Hara as Lilith Asami, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Arata Kasuga, Aya Uchida as Arin Kannazuki, Ayane Sakura as Revi Kazama, Yōko Hikasa as Mira Yamana, Ryoka Yuzuki as Akio Fudo, Rie Murakawa as Yui Kurata, Rie Kugiyama as Sora, Shinichiro Miki as the princinap and Nao Tōyama as Liselotte Sherlock.
Plot concept: “Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, Lust. These are the seven sins laid upon seven girls who rule over Biblia Academy. To retake his world, the boy decides he must control these sins… The boy, Arata Kasuga, has had the world he knows by a mysterious “Collapse Phenomenon”, and his cousin Hijiri disappears into another dimension. To understand the Collapse Phenomenon and win back his cousin, he comes to Biblia Academy. There he finds the seven girls and their sins.”
