Details are slim at this point, but it looks like a Scrapped Princess Blu-ray box set may be in the works for a Japanese release. The series is being plotted for a December 26th, 2014 release priced at 30,240 yen for the complete twenty-four episode run. The series originally aired in 2003 in Japan as animated by Studio Bones with soichi Masui directing based on scripts by Reiko Yoshida. The series was picked up by Bandai Entertainment and got a brief TV run through ImaginAsian TV. Bandai Entertainment last released the series in an Anime Legends collection back in 2007, though you can still find copies floating out there in various retail channels.

Plot concept: Pacifica Cassul is a girl with a destiny. But unfortunately it’s not a good one; she is the Scrapped Princess, a girl who, according to prophecy, is the poison that will destroy the world. Naturally, this means that people want her gone. But two powerful people have sworn to protect her- her brother Shannon, whose swordsmanship is impeccable, and her sister Raquel, who is able to wield devastating magic when the mood strikes her. But traveling without attracting attention proves to be very difficult for the outspoken Pacifica, and they soon find themselves in trouble from various sources. Traitorous friends, assassins, and even an operative from Special Forces all stand in their way. But along the way, they’ll meet new friends and together will unravel the mystery behind the supposed Armageddon
