After getting its first full promo video last week, Tokyo MX is up to bat this week with the first TV spot for the upcoming fall adaptation of Kaitou Joker, aka Mysterious Joker. The series, based on the children’s oriented manga, comes from Hideyasu Takahashi and has had seventeen volumes released in Japan so far. The series is set for the standard broadcast roll out this fall with Toyko MX and KIDS STATION listed as the broadcasters that will debut on October 6th and October 26th respectively. The series is Takahashi’s first work, which he began back in 2007.

The series is being directed by Yukiyo Teramoto with Dai Sato listed as the series organizer. Miho Shimogasa is handling the character designs and it’s being animated by Shin-Ei Animation. It will star Ayumu Murase as Joker, Yumiko Kobayashi as Hachi, Hiro Shimono as Spade, Miyuki Sawashiro as Queen, Naoki Tatsuta as Dogusaburo Oniyama, Nobuo Tobita as Mister Kaneari, Aki Kaneda as Kaneko, Haruna Sakurai as Momo Shirai, Yuko Hara as Ginko Kurosaki and Bin Shimada as Silver Heart

Plot concept: There is nothing in the world that the mysterious phantom thief Joker cannot steal. He goes after one treasure after another in unpredictable capers with seemingly miraculous tricks.
