With the first installment of the theatrical debut on September 20th, 2014 in Japan in theaters of Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow, Kadokawa has now brought out more information about the second installment. The new episode is now scheduled for a January 10th, 2015 debut in theaters in Japan with a home video release to come afterwards. That episode is getting the subtitle of Goddess of the Aegan Sea. It’s set to bring on the characters for Francesca, Charlotte, Hanna-Justina and Raisa.
The project, which is getting limited theatrical distribution before a home video release, something more of these projects are doing these days, is bringing back the majority of the original team to work on it. Each episode of three planned episodes will run for thirty minutes as it focuses on the aftermath of the Operation Mars storyline from the second season and before the movie.

Plot concept: The year is 1944 and the world lives in fear of unidentified flying objects called Neuroi. Meet the girls of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, better known as the Strike Witches. These darlings of the great blue yonder may not have standard issue uniforms, but they do have all the right stuff. Where the average flyboy falters, these dolls blast aliens to bits in the bat of an eyelash. With a little magic and a whole lot of leg, the girls of the 501st are winning the war on pants, and aliens!
