P.A. Works is generally regarded pretty well for the series that they work on as even when the story is weak, you can’t help but to be drawn in by the visuals. The company has a now show they’re working on for the October season and it’s being produced with animation director Tsutomu Mizushima, who has a good range of credits including xxxHOLIC and Girls und Panzer. The series is being called Shirobako and translates to White Box. The teaser site has gone live here but doesn’t really offer up any more yet. It’s expected that more details will be announced next weekend at Comic Market 86.
P.A. Works was established back in 2000 by Kenji Horikawa, who has been involved in several animation studios previously. They worked on numerous shows over the years and produced their first on in 2008 with True Tears before going on to Canaan, Angel Beats and several others, including this seasons Glasslip.
