While I didn’t get to read the manga, I loved the Naruto comedy spinoff series Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals. So seeing another one come to life here is a big positive as I can hope it’ll get an anime adaptation as well. According to the latest issue of Saikyo Jump magazine, a new spinoff is set to debut on October 3rd with Sasuke Uchiha’s Shuringan Legend. The series will be drawn by Kenji Taira, who ended his run on the Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals series earlier this month. That property got a 51 episode anime series simulcast by Crunchyroll along with Viz Media and Viz Media recently started talking a bit about bringing that out to home video as well.
Plot concept: The manga will revolve around Sasuke Uchiha, a user of the Sharingan eye. Although he is usually cool, he also has a humorous side to him.
