Good news for fans of Lost Girl and what Giant Ape Media has been doing with it as the FUNimation site has updated to announce that the company has extended it’s rights to the show through Blu-ray & DVD, DTO/DTR/EST, (and via digital carriers) PPV and VOD with the fifth season that’s now in production. Giant Ape Media has released the first four seasons on DVD and Blu-ray and now has a lot more options with the digital side of it through multiple windows.
Series concept: When we last saw the supernatural seductress Bo (Anna Silk: Being Erica; Billable Hours), she and her allies had been caught up in a fierce battle for the fate of the world. Her mysterious, long-absent father, turns his daughter into the Dark Queen in his ploy to escape from hell. Bo’s allies—both Fae and human—manage to fight back his army of undead revenants, but only at the great loss of one of their own.
