It is with deep sadness and regret that I was informed this morning that our friend, Katie “Pelianth” Schroeder, has passed away. Katie has long, long been a part of my life since I started my original site back in the late 90’s and she was there as a key member of the community, as a participant, as a moderator, as someone involved in the social side in the part of the country where she lived as there were site gatherings regularly back in the day.
Katie’s struggle has been a long and hard one for many reasons as those close to her knew, and those that interacted with her through social media. We hope that she has found the peace that we all deserve in the end and that wherever she is now, she knows full well and is warmed by the fact that she touched upon so many lives in so many ways and enriched us all for it.
You will be missed, very much so.
