The Manga Time Kirarara magazine announced last month that Koufuku Graffiti would be getting an anime adaptation. Now the speculation machine is churning, which Crunchyroll picked up on, that could give fans of the studio Shaft some hope. There’s speculation amongst some of the Japanese blogs that the series is the one that Shaft has taken on as part of what’s being said to be their winter 2015 series, which would certainly fit in their wheelhouse with the tone, style and the cute girls aspect that would work well with their comedy and design aesthetic.  The manga, which comes from Makoto Kawai, began in 2012 in Manga Time Kirara Miracle! and is the first published professional work for the creator. The series has three volumes to its name so far. No details about the production have been announced as it’s just an intent to animate announcement. More details are expected in upcoming issues of the magazine.

Plot concept: Ryo, a junior high school student, lives alone. She cooks well and builds warm relations with everyone through her cuisine. There will be 4-frames full of minute and accurate depictions of cooking and cuisine, as well as appetizing dining scenes, with tantalizing eroticism during meal time. When lonely, why not eat rice and be warm together?
