The anime crowdfunding company Anime Sols will open a page for a DVD set of The Files of Young Kindaichi Returns, currently airing and simulcasting on Crunchyroll, when the series airs its 15th episode next month. Also beginning with episode 15, Anime Sols will share Crunchyroll’s stream for the series on its site. The DVD will only be available to US and Canadian residents.
The television series, spun off from the Kindaichi Case Files manga by Yōzaburō Kanari and Fumiya Sato, began airing in April. It airs on Crunchyroll on Saturdays, 6:30 AM Eastern for Premium Members.
Plot Summary: Based off of the original manga by Seimaru Amagi, and Fumiya Sato, The Files of Kindaichi Returns centers on the Hajime Kindaichi, grandson of the famous detective Kosuke Kindaichi. Though he usually appears to be a regular high school student, when a difficult case arises Hajime, along with his childhood friend Miyuki Nanase, police inspector Isamu Kenmochi, and rival Kengo Akechi, use their sharp deduction skills to solve each mystery.
