Dating games and games in general being adapted into anime are nothing new and we’re seeing more card games these days making the leap, which are playing in the digital field a lot as well. So a social game making the leap to an anime certainly isn’t a surprise as it’s been announced that the social romance sim game Girl Friend BETA will be doing just that. It’s pretty much expected that it’ll be a somewhat familiar anime since there are so many dating sims to anime adaptations out there and the project is also getting a manga adaptation that will begin this fall in Dengeki Maoh. No details about the anime or manga in terms of who will be working on it was announced.

The game is certainly interesting in terms of how it’s put together as there’s something like over four million users according to its stats and there’s a hundred different characters within the game, each of which has its own voice actress to bring it to life.
