While there are certainly gimmicks that will make you cringe, especially if you remember the 1990’s for comics, there are those characters and events where you’ll nod and accept it as being right. Such is the case with the September release of Deadpool #34 fom Marvel Comics where he’s getting a 3D cover variant. Marvel has sent out an image of the work as created by Mark Brooks that will wrap around the book by Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn and Scott Koblish.
Plot concept: Flashback to an earlier time – the 1990s – covers were flashier, pouches were really in style, and every comics tied into an event or crossover.
