The upcoming series Sengoku Basara: Judge End recently got its name, the cast information released and the first key visual for it as well, which you can see to the right. Now theofficial site has announced that the series will premiere this July in Japan. The series will work through the familiar Battle of Sekigahara which has been adapted into anime form many times over the years through a number of series.
Takashi Sano has signed on as the director for the series with Natsuko Takahashi working on the series composition. Yumenokai Tokuda and Kobayaashi Toshimitu will be working as the chief animation directors. Michinori Chiba is set to handled the character designs.
The series will be animated through Telecom Animation Film, which has an extensive list of credits to their name but also worked as the in-between animation team for Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings.
The returning cast includes:
Kazuya Nakai as Date Masamune
Souichiro Hoshi as Sanada Yukimura
Toru Ohkawa as Tokugawa Ieyasu
Tomokazu Seki as Ishida Mitsunari
The games have previously been adapted into anime form with Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, which had two twelve episode seasons each with an additional OVA back in 2009 and 2010 as well as a feature length movie in 2011, all of which was done by Production I.G. and released in North America through FUNimation.
