Channing Tatum has a bit of a gap in his schedule since the Gambit film at Fox has been pushed back to indefinitely delayed and he’s filling it out with an interesting choice. The actor has now boarded the Kingsman: The Golden Circle sequel film where it looks like he’ll be adding an American character from the south to give it all a little more character.
The original film did strong numbers with a $414 worldwide theatrical take and a good bit added to that with home video and other distribution means.
The film will star Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Channing Tatum and Julianne Moore. It’s directed by Matthew Vaughn and written by him and Jane Goldman.
Original concept: Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
Oh no: Channing Tatum is one of the worst actors of today.
This franchise seems like it is growing too fast, taking on too much “star power”.
