While the anime ended oh so long ago, the manga has rolled on slowly but surely for the adaptation of Neon Genesis Evangelion by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. Kadokawa now has a new promotional video out for the fourteenth and final volume of the series as it has a finalized street date of November 20th, 2014 and will have a limited edition release as well. Both editions will feature 28 previously unpublished pages that didn’t make it into the twenty-year run that the manga has sporadically enjoyed while the limited edition will also come with an exclusive cover, bookends for the whole run and an additional 16 pages of material. It’ll also come wit ha “Working Music” CD that features material that Sadamoto liked and listened to while working on the series.
Viz Media published the thirteenth volume of the series back in November of 2012 in both print and digital form. They’ve also released the first twelve volumes in 2013 as three-in-one editions, making them very accessible.
