Having really enjoy the previous anime adaptation of Robinson Haruhara with Senyu, it’s good to see that his other series that just kicked off as a web anime series is just as weird and amusing. The first episode Haruhara’s new series, Gakumon! ~Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai~ (School of Monsters! Wolf Girl Won’t Give Up), is now only and you can see it below. Of course, it’s in Japanese only but you can get it with English subtitles of sorts by putting on the Japanese closed captions and setting it to automatically translate. It’s not 100% by any stretch, but you can get the gist of it. The adaptation is being handled by Studio Moriken with Kenshi Morii directing it with Soshi Iguchi handling the character designs.
Plot concept: The story centers around Shushu (center left in image), a girl who enrolls into a monster school as a “wolfman candidate.” However, she keeps the fact that she is a girl a secret. Yumi Uchiyama will play Shushu, and Hiro Shimono will play Juzu (top left), the taciturn son of the school’s principal. The other characters include the dorm head Timido, Shushu’s class representative Kiisu Fraigaa (far right), and Kiisu’s teddy bear sidekick Bear-tan.
