We’re getting closer to the May 6th, 2014 release of the Son of Batman animated feature from DC Comics and Warner and that means a little new material. The timing is good for it as it comes just before WonderCon this weekend where there will be a panel for the feature with a good bit of the cast and production team on hand for it. It adapts the short run arc from 2006 that was written by Grant Morrison with artwork by Andy Kubert as it deals with the reveal that Bruce had a son with Talia and the ramifications of it. The voice cast features Jason O’Mara, Stuart Allan, Morena Baccarin, Giancarlo Esposito, David McCallum, Xander Berkeley and Thomas Gibson.
The release is tentatively scheduled for a May 6th, 2014 date on DVD, Blu-ray and download.
