Vampire Bund 2

After finishing off the original series for Dance in the Vampire Bund in spring 2013 and then finishing off the The Memories of Sledgehammer side story as well, manga creator Nozomu Tamaki kicked off Scarlet Order: Dance in the Vampire Bund 2 in December 2013. And now ahead of the planned first volume release, he’s tweeted a look at the first cover for it which definitely shows that the title is still pushing the boundaries in the same way.

The original work, which began in 2005, also garnered an anime adaptation 2010 which FUNimation picked up and released in North America while Manga Entertainment UK picked up the UK rights. That series was directed by Akiyuki Shinbo for Shaft.

Original series concept: After millennia in hiding, Mina Tepes, the Princess of the ancient covenant and ruler of all vampires, wants change. Using the vast wealth of the Tepes line, she has paid off the entire gross national debt of Japan and in so doing, gained the authority to create a “special district” off the coast of Japan that is to become the future haven to vampires the world over. Now, on the eve of the landmark press conference announcing the existence of vampires to the world, terrorists and rival factions plot to assassinate Mina before she has a chance to make her world-changing
