While the official site was registered several months ago, it has formally opened for Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun and that means a lot of new information about the adaptation of the manga. The series, based on the manga by Izumi Tsubaki (creator of Oresama Teacher), is set for a July premiere with Dogakobo handling the animation. The series will be directed by Mitsue Yamazaki based on scripts and composition by Yoshiko Nakamura and character designs by Junichiro Taniguchi. The series has cast its leads, which you can see in the video below, with Yuichi Nakamura as Umetaro Nozaki, Ari Ozawa as Chiyo Sakura and Nobuhiko Kotamoto as Mikoto Mikoshiba. The original four panel web manga began in the summer of 2011 and is ongoing with four published volumes to date.

Plot concept: Sakura Chiyo is a highschool student who has a crush on a schoolmate named Nozaki-kun. One day, she confessed her love to him but he mistook her as a fan. Things starts to get complicated when Nozaki-kun invites her to come to his house only to find his secret: he is a shōjo manga artist. Sakura then decides to be Nozaki-kun’s assistant in order to get closer to him. She later gets acquintanced with Nozaki’s other assistants who are all no strangers to Sakura. The story revolves around the making of Nozaki’s manga Let’s Love~ and everyday situations happen around the characters.
