As we get into the final weeks before the spring season begins, more teaser sites are going into full sites, more promos are hitting and more key art as well. And we’re also seeing more premiere dates being firmed up. The latest one comes from Brunnhilde of Gokukuro, which is now slayted for an April 6th debut on Tokyo MX first with other networks following just afterward. The reveal comes from the official site which also has provided a new key visual of the cast.
The show, produced by ARMS, comes from the man behind Elfen Lied, Lynn Okamoto as the manga began in early 2012 and has had six volumes released so far. The anime adaptation brings Kenichi Imaizumi in as the director working off of scripts by Yukinori Kitajima while Hiroaki Karasu will be handling character designs as well as being the chief animation director.
The cast for the show has been revealed for some of the characters with Ryota Ohsaka taking on Ryota Murakami and Risa Taneda as Neko Kuroha. Aya Suzaki is coming on as Kana Tachiba, M.A.O. as Kazumi Schleiren-Sauer and Azusa Tadokoro as Kotori Takatori.
Plot concept: When he was a child, Murakami was infatuated with a girl he called Kuroneko. She insisted on knowing about aliens and having met them, but no one believed her, even young Murakami was skeptical. One day, she decides to show him the aliens, but an accident occurs and Kuroneko dies while Murakami is left seriously wounded in the hospital. Years go by and Murakami obsesses on finding proof of the existence of aliens because of a promise he had made with Kuroneko. Then, one day, a new transfer student comes to his class, who not only looks a lot like Kuroneko, but is named Kurohaneko! And even though she insists on never having met Murakami before, the girl has superhuman strength and seems to even be able to predict the future! How will Murakami’s life change now that he has been saved by this mysterious girl that claims to be a magician?
